Great food, prices, selection, atmosphere, and service.

Meal came out quickly but the chicken was over cooked and crust was kinda burnt.

The sweet tea was fabulous but biscuit was a bit salty and pork chop pretty dry.

My first time ever trying this place. Let me just say if you go on the weekend you better be prepared for the wait or call ahead to see if you can be put on the wait list and wait at home but if you’re from outta town be prepared. I had the Saturday special which is fried pork chops; they were so tender and flavorful, I almost thought it was chicken by mistake. The portion sizes are not equal for each dish or their prices, the chicken fried steak my husband got was very small compared to the other portions of meat we ordered. It tasted good he said though. The fully loaded hash brown casserole; that everyone raved about, it was ehh alright I guess but the mac and cheese was on point! The staff however was very friendly and helpful, more than most places staff are. I will definitely come back to try something else on the menu and maybe look at the country store when it’s less crowded!

Had a great breakfast at Howe Ave Cracker Barrel today. Our server Mimi was so great. Engaging and humorous, anticipating our every desire. Food was excellent! They’re under new management since we were there before Covid, and they’re doing things right. All personnel were cheery and helpful!

I loved this country store/restaurant!! Everyone very friendly/welcoming. The service in restaurant was right on, the food was down home southern cooking and was great. Loved the grits, fish was cooked to perfection!! Will definitely return and recommend to all.
