This particular Cracker Barrel is one of the better ones that I’ve been too. Decided to stop here during my travels, I was seated right away and Courtney my server promptly took my order and he was extremely courteous. He kept my drink glass full and even got me one for the road. It being Wednesday, I ordered the broccoli/chicken, it had a great cheese sauce and wasn’t dry. Mashed potatoes and turnip greens as sides with biscuits that were actually browned instead of coming out looking like they needed 10 more min in the oven. Butter was frozen as usual, par for the Barrel, however, the biscuits were hot enough to melt it. Food tasted really good at this particular store, Cracker Barrel has gotten inconsistent in food flavoring to me from store to store. However, I give this one 2 thumbs up.

This was actually my first time in the store. The food was good and my waitress Shakeita J. was amazing. Shakeitha answered all my questions about the menu and helped me decide on my entrée. Shakeitha was very attentive to our needs during the busy lunch time rush As I was leaving i was looking through the store and saw some peppermints my Grandmother liked. When I got to the counter the cashier offered them to me 2 for a dollar which made my heart smile. I dont know if they were the special of the day but they were special to me. I will be coming back to try other menu items….by the way i had the country steak and eggs breakfast.

Honestly the first time I had a bad experience here.First the hostess did not greet2nd the floors had food on them3 the tables did not look noticeably dirty but did not feel freshly wiped down which is unacceptable during the pandemic I saw no hand sanitizer or signs that disinfectants were used.4 sat at the table too long before meeting our server, she was very robotic and routine.5. I was served disgusting tap water with 3 sorry pieces of ice floating in it. I don’t even drink tap water at my own home surly don’t want it at a restaurant I think cracker barrel should make it known they serve tap!6. All food came out cold. Butter wouldn’t even melt on the pancakes!7. Server walked by several times and saw drinks were low didn’t get a single refill, maybe I’m old fashioned but you shouldn’t have to ask for a refill!8. One cashier, everyone crowded up trying to pay while others are trying to get in again, are we not in a pandemic? Very disappointed I really want a full refund I coulda stayed at home and did a much better breakfast, next time I will!
