… -less. One of the legs became loose. I brought it to their Galleria Mall store in Middletown, NY and they fixed it for me for free, within twenty minutes. Job perfectly …

The staff is super nice and professional. They fit us in and we were in and out in an hour. Recommend this place to anyone.

Please don’t snap my head off because I was “foolish” enough to read your sign that stated “please go to the front counter and sign in for all services.” To be spoken to as if I was your bratty child is insulting. Take down that sign so you don’t get annoyed by people looking for a sheet to sign in on.Everybody behind the counter there in past years have always been amazing and wonderful. Yes I know in past years there was no pandemic, and that’s why I thank you very much for being there so I can get glasses. It takes one bad apple, though. $495 for a pair of glasses that broke the first day I had them, and then they get lost when they got back to the store. (truly I don’t hold that against anybody it’s been a moment since this pandemic, they got misfiled, they found them , another week and a half with without them didn’t bother me.) Goodness knows what type of pressure that woman at the counter is being put through by Cohens optical that she had to take it out on me. Since I’m writing this review anyway, I’d like to add that the optometrist really seem she’d like to be anywhere but where she was, she made it a little obvious. If you’re there to get glasses that you’re going to have to wear pretty much full-time for the first time in your life, don’t ask any questions, She’ll assume you didn’t hear her and repeat what she said instead of actually answering the question. And again since I’m at this, when I went to pick up my glasses, these are progressives, never wore something like this before. It was extremely disorienting to put them on an attempt to see anything. Don’t put me off with “you’ll get used to them” after I got flustered I couldn’t see properly. That person walked away and said “you deal with her” to someone who has known me for many years at Cohen’s, and was kind enough to explain how progressives worked and the “fishbowl” effect was something that would go away as I got used to wearing them, Actually gave me a sheet that explained what I needed to do to get used to wearing these things. Thank you for that someone who actually knows what they’re doing, I truly appreciated that! This review would never have been written if I hadn’t been spoken to the way I was today. I wasn’t being pushy I wasn’t looking to demand immediate service, I was only looking for a sign in sheet; for you to snap my head off before you even found out why I was there was uncalled for. Just take the time to tell me there’s no sign in sheet and please wait where you needed me to wait. First condescending optometrist, then the counter person who didn’t want to take the time to explain how progressives work, the straw that broke my back was when I got snapped in a nasty way. I normally let stuff like that go don’t take it personally. And it takes a lot to get me to complain, because I always give the other person the benefit of the doubt, and I understand there’s a pandemic that is putting hella stress on everybody, but three times at the same place of business was my limit. Goodness knows what the business practices are for Cohen’s optical, that they’re putting that much stress on their people that it’s bleeding out sideways onto the customers. I truly hope that all there stay well and be well during these trying times

The people that work there are very courteous and very attentive to their customers I would definitely recommend Cohen’s Fashion Optical Galleria at Crystal Run and before I go I love my glasses
