Coco’s is a good place to buy things ONLY IF you don’t have any problems with what you bought. I purchase 2 window air conditioners (a 6K and a 8k BTU) for over $700 for both. One of them had been dropped before I received it. I didn’t notice the damage on the corner of the air conditioner, the broken styrofoam packaging, or the dented box (which all indicated a dropped box resulting in a fairly good size crack) until after I installed it. After calling numerous times and getting numerous put offs over the course of 2 years by both my sales person, Frank at Cocca’s and the repair agent, The Appliance Man, I’ve had to give up on either getting the cover replaced on the air conditioner or getting the air conditioner itself replaced.

I would NEVER do business here again. My dryer had issues on a regular basis. I’d call but they never returned my calls unless I got to speak with the owner. Heating element broke within 9 months and I still had to pay something towards it. Finally a seal broke and if I hadn’t stopped in after a month of calling the part would still be sitting there. Very poor service and extremely unorganized business. Go elsewhere and DON’T buy Maytag.

Don’t buy from them unless you don’t actually need your appliances. The warranty they offer is next to useless. Their repair company, Appliance Man, has earned their 1.4 star rating (look them up). When a key component of my range stopped working after a year leaving me without the use of my oven, they took 2 weeks to come out to look at it. After diagnosing the problem (which in my opinion, could have been done over the phone) they are going to take another 3 weeks to come back. That’s over a month without a working oven. This is not due to part availability, they have it. After several phone calls I have been told that’s the best they can do. Not good enough for me, next time I guess I’ll just buy the part and fix it myself.
