Stay on top of the mechanics at the service center. My wife had to take back her car a couple of times because the repairs they were supposed to have completed weren’t. Not a bad place but maybe a little mismanaged when it comes to the service center and the mechanics. The mechanics even tried to argue with us about there not being a coolant leak stating that they replaced that line and there was no leak. Well that was until we sent them the pictures I took with my phone which are dated and would coincide with when the vehicle was there. Once seen that they were like we’ll keep looking, eventually replacing that line and now there isn’t a leak. Not bad, but would definitely go elsewhere if there was a dealership closer.

I stopped at Classic Chevrolet Cadillac returning to my home in Florida after visiting my son and his family in the Houston area when the alternator on my 2007 Chevrolet quit charging. The lady I spoke to in the service department was quite nice and seemed to want to help a stranded motorist in a strange town. She took my information and asked me to wait until she could arrange something. About an hour later she advised me that they didn’t have an alternator and that they didn’t have time to fix my car anyway. But she told me that I could hang out in the customer lounge until I could arrange something. I called my son and he located the part from an auto parts store and brought it to me, along with the necessary tools to repair my car. After he arrived, it took us 18 minutes to replace the alternator and I was on my way. I’m 73 years old and I can remember when car dealers were a different breed and welcomed doing something that would not only give them some business, but also good public relations. I’m just glad it was me and not my wife who experienced the breakdown. But i appreciate the use of their wifi in the customer lounge. I also appreciate the use of the parking lot where I fixed the car myself. It saved me at least $150 in labor cost.
