I’m a repeat customer. The first installation went so well that I came back for a second, significantly more challenging install. It was also very well done. When I have more flooring needs, I’ll return to City Carpets.
Nicole Albert
EVERY aspect of my customer experience (Mike Albert) with City Carpets was exceptional! When I first called, Nicole spent much time with me on the phone and was very patient answering several questions. Then, during our meeting, Nicole showed me a variety of options, and explained the tradeoffs between the different possibilities, including the padding. She did not try to up sell me; rather, she was truly customer oriented snd worked with my budget. After the carpet arrived, Nicole made sure that installation was timed relative to the other work I had scheduled. The installation guys did a beautiful job! One can hardly see any of the seams. And, when I had stopped in to City Carpets, and also called once, and both times Nicole was off that day; John stopped what he was doing and provided time to respond to my questions, rather than tell me to contact Nicole when she returned. BTW, I had first visited Kens Carpets, and was not at all satisfied with what I felt was Ken’s focus on profitability, rather than being concerned with my budget and the options that would meet my needs.City Carpets – keep on treating every customer like you treated me!! Thank you.

Hossein and Leigh were both amazing to work with. Our floors and carpets were installed within a month of choosing and ordering the materials. We were quoted 3-4 days and the job was done in 1.5 days. We were super excited that the job was done early; however, would have been happy for them to take longer if needed. The boards underneath the carpet on the bedroom level were so squeaky and loud that we were nervous to walk by our daughters rooms. When I called to ask why the floors squeaked so much with brand new carpet and pads, they quickly suggested that they try to come and fix it. They explained that they didn’t know if it would work but were happy to try. They had to rip up the carpet (no visual evidence which is awesome) and cut the pads to nail down the boards in the high traffic areas. It made a huge difference for noise, but did create some bumps under the carpet. And there are some areas that still squeak because they didn’t take up the whole upstairs carpet to fix the issue (can’t without moving out furniture-the house was vacant when they installed). They came back to finish the baseboards and one area of the flooring because they ran out of materials.Overall, I would highly recommend this company. Our floors are beautiful. The craftsmanship is impeccable. Just a bit bummed about the carpet install. Make sure to ask them to simply put some nails in your boards BEFORE installing the pads and carpet. They’re not carpenters so don’t except more than that. But newer nails and many of them make a big difference.
