Overall the vibe was incredible. I walked in feeling confident I would buy my vehicle and the environment confirmed it. The customer satisfaction confirmed it too as I loved watching the employees move urgently as I do when I work. My car was shipped and maintained before I drove off the lot which was great! And the gentleman that assisted me was superb! (Marcus at CarMax Montgomery) I strongly recommend anyone wanting to experience a different feel of car shopping to shop with CarMax!

So grateful to Marcus and Chris for helping me with my trade-in and making sure I drove away in a great car. First time shopping at CarMax and I’m a fan!During the pandemic, they’re using an appointment system. We didn’t know this and walked in on a busy Saturday around noon. The earliest they could fit me in for an appraisal of my trade-in and some test drives was 5:30 pm. So my husband and I browsed the lot on our own and went across the street to Jason’s Deli to eat and discuss our favorites. We returned just before 2:00 pm and asked if they could fit us in if there were any cancellations – they could and they did!!Our patience and humor – and definitely theirs, despite working under so many COVID-related constraints – made for a very enjoyable experience. They went above and beyond, even helping me get my old car off the tow dolly we’d brought it in on.I’m really happy with this experience and will likely be looking at CarMax first when it’s once again time for a new-to-me car.

Very good experience. It was nice not having to go back and forth with a salesman. Had to buy a new battery but I knew upfront that was a possibility. Sent CM my receipt and got a check in the mail today. My car is 3 years old and looks brand new. I traded my old car for a very fair price. Not sure if I got a better deal than going through a dealer but it was a lot easier and I got the exact color, exterior and interior and options that I wanted.
