I’ve heard people talk about Byrds since I moved here 5+ years ago. First time trying it today. Gotta say I’m dissapointed. Like, the women working the counter were friendly, don’t get me wrong. I order a sausage link egg and cheese sandwich. Links tasted cheap, eggs were extremely watery and scrambled (on a sandwich?), and bread was toasted, rather than grilled.I guess I should have ordered a plate and made my own sandwich?It also seemed over priced for what we got…The eating experience would have earned 3-4 stars. So keep that in mind if you want to give it a try!But then I went to use the restroom (for which there are signs pointing to it) and have to deduct another star or two… I had to walk through a dark, damp, very narrow storage area, that has a small door leading outside, and is also where they receive their inventory orders for food! This whole little storage area, and where they recieve truck orders, REEKED of cigarette smoke. I imagine most of the time they stand outside of that door, so it all just trails in, but it had been raining and I wonder if they instead, smoked standing in the doorway??Anyway, it lead to a tiny, very dirty bathroom.Ugh. Either way, if that’s what we have to go through to use your bathroom, just remove the sign that says there is a bathroom to use.
