I thought this would be a great place to shop, because I love Burlington. Even better, because it’s only a few blocks away from me. Boy was I wrong-I’ve been in this store about 4 times since it open last year & each time either employees/security follow me. I’m always dressed decent and I always make my purchase. On 10/24/20, I went in to see if they had queen sheets, before I purchased them on Amazon. I found some on sale, so I decided to pick up some other items, all the time a lady in a plaid coat and hat, as well as Julie (the check out cashier) was following me around the store. (I know I should have left, but I couldn’t beat the price for the sheets & I wasn’t doing anything wrong). Anyhow, once I decided to check out Julie came running up to the counter to open up a register. Now keep in mind, there was only 2-3 people behind me and there was already 4 cashier’s checking people out. I was next in line to get rang out, but the cashier looked at me and then at Julie, as if she was terrified. Anyhow Julie called me over, snatching my purchases as if I had no reason to be in the store. As I gave her my #, she looked at my info on the screen & at me for a minute & then told me the total. I put my card in, & the look on her face was priceless, it was as if she thought it wasnt going to go through. We finished up the transaction & I heard her sarcastically say Have a great rest of your day. I wanted to tell her where she could go, but I decided to be a lady & just leave.I said all that to say, although this location in Plano is closer to me, I’d whether go somewhere, where I’m not followed and preconceived as a criminal.
