The store has a great selection of just about everything and every Department. However, there are three problems that I have with the store that would make me not want to come back to this location ever.1. The ventilation system is horrible in the store. There is no reason why they were beauty products that have accumulated a layer of dust. This is the only Burlington I have ever stepped in where the products are dusty.2. If you don’t have nothing to do or nowhere to be, feel free to come to the location and stand on line anywhere between 45 minutes to over an hour.3. Yesterday, I had decided to return two perfumes to the store. One was Calvin Klein and the other one was Burberry. I have made returns before with different items such as lotion bottles I have tested it out once and sent back. I have never had any problems returning lightly used products and I am not one of those people to return products that have been heavily used. I’m not sure if I encountered the manager yesterday but my cashier did not know how to do a return(without a receipt but a loyalty member) so she called over the manager the manager had the most rudest, snarky attitude towards me. The manager felt like he was doing me a favor by deciding to honor my return because apparently the store no longer accepts open perfume bottles and cologne. I am pretty sure that this is a company policy that applies to every Burlington and this man cannot just decide to ignore the rules of the company. Only this location I was told I can’t return perfume that I don’t like because it has been sprayed one time. He even tried to suggest that I would not like lightly used perfume bottles. I actually would as long as it’s lightly used. By his logic, you also shouldn’t be returning shirts, dresses, pants or anything also that matter of because it is used and is no longer brand new. Which is interesting because I have returned open products with this manager before and he had nothing to say about it. How come all of a sudden there is a change in store policy. It is not listed anywhere on the receipt either so how would the customer know? That I had a bag that I put on top of the counter because I was going to put the items in my bag. He asked me if I was purchasing the bag, I had responded no, went to the length of saying I got this bag from a different location and he had said you know the tag is still on the bag right? and I responded with I know. The man was trying to insinuate that I was going to steal a bag that did not have a security tag on it whatsoever. how did he know I wasn’t testing out the bag to see if I liked it or not. If I didn’t like it, the tag was still in the bag and I could have sent it back to the store. All Burlington bags/wallets/pursues have security tag alarms attached to them, new or returned. This is the last time I’m stepping back into this location because it was one thing if this was a company policy to apply to all stores but this is the only store that has told me I’m not allowed to return open products have been lightly used. Will be sticking with the location in Green Acres Mall since it has no dusty items, more cashiers that are behind the counter and that are willing to serve their customers without an attitude.
