Great paved roads for biking and jogging. Cute playground for the kids with a beautiful lake view, and hiking is awesome here.

Hiked a couple miles with our 3 kids, ages 12, 10 and 6. Very kid friendly and well marked trails. Did’t hike to the top of Blue Mountain, as that would have been quite long, but was peaceful and serene.

I have known this park for 57 years. It is a beautiful park to go strolling with your dog or bike with the familyYet it has alot to be desired. Years ago before the county took it over during the summer there used to be lake swimming with life guards and a concession stand. In the winter ice skating and sledding with a concession stand and a warm cozy fire in the fireplace to sit by. Now it just offer hiking trails and mountain bike trails. Westchester County along with Peekskill and the Town of Cortland are planning to add kyacks and a dog park among other activities which will change my rating in the future
