I have been a lifetime wearer of Birkenstocks and have always thought of them as some of the most comfortable and durable shoes I’ve owned. My mom has had the same pair of your sandals for over 20 years and they are still in great shape.I’m not sure if you changed how your shoes are made but I bought my most recent pair about a year and a half ago and they are already falling apart. The sole has come off of the footbed and the straps are fraying. I live in a climate where I can only wear sandals for about 4 months out of the year, so these shoes have only seen about 8 months of moderate usage. I can’t believe they’re falling apart so quickly. For how expensive the shoes are I thought I would get quite a bit more out of them.I’m very disappointed in the product I received from your company and am not sure if I will ever buy another pair of shoes from you. I am also no longer a firm believer in the quality of your shoes and of your company. I hope you improve and give people the quality of product they have come to expect from your company
