I am relating my most recent experience with Beach City Flooring which was a disaster. I am literally writing this from my car in the parking lot. Things started out great. We were going to have LVP installed in the entire downstairs with the exception of ceramic tile to be installed in the laundry room. Not only was I told in the showroom what the pricing was for the laundry room portion (a flat rate including tile, material and labor per square foot), when he came out to measure the house it was confirmed again and then AGAIN at the office several days later. I was advised that they would raise the floor using plywood in one small office which was included in the LVP pricing. Long story short, when I went in to put the deposit down to start the job, they increased the price by over $1000! I waited over 45 minutes for the owner to arrive to try and clear things up. When he arrived, he was rude and refused to listen to what I was told by his salesman. I walked out and am really disappointed. What a total waste of time. This place had great reviews but I was told that it is under new ownership this past year. I am not sure if that is accurate but that was what I was told. So my advice to anyone doing business here is to make sure every detail is spelled out on your contract! Don’t just take their word for it. Fortunately, I did not put any money down.
