My family visited the USS Iowa museum today and had a great experience. When we got there we were greeted by the staff and they explained it was a self guided tour to just follow the arrows and that we could take as many pictures as we wanted. Throughout our tour there were various stops at key places like guns, rooms, and control room. Each stop had a posted exhaling the function or just a story about the place. There were also what I think were veterans that served on the ship. We didn’t want to ask. The tour was easy to complete by ourselves and we had a lot of fun and learned a lot about the battleship. I would highly recommend to everyone that is in town to go to the ship its and awesome experience.
