Night shift manager(Hispanic guy with glasses) pretty much told me I was lying about a part that I never installed, and refused to give me the refund, he gave me the attitude like an immature teen and came off as rude, zero carbon buildup or signs of coolant, and he swore that I’ve ran that egr valve for a month. they need a more professional manager there. This is clearly a remaned part and he said they don’t sell remaned egr valves….worst autozone in the 10 years I’ve been a tech

I am actually so confused by the interaction I just had at this location.When I called, the guy I spoke to was super personable and super helpful and then I come in to pick up my order and deal with some dude who was either too tired to have a personality or just having a bad day period. Really seemed to have quite the chip on his shoulder and had a bad attitude for literally no reason.It seemed to be super bothersome to double check that my battery was a match and then when I do get all checked out he puts the battery on top of one of those janky metal carts and pushes it towards me so I go to lift it off (not realizing that it’s a good 40lbs) and some other guy goes you can take the cart out..So no, I hefted it and walked out. My husband was so angry about the whole situation that he called and the manager said he was right there the whole time and that there was no issue and that he offered to take it to my car for me lolFirst of all, there was no issue because I didn’t make any issues. Secondly, allowing me to take the cart out is not the same as someone bringing it to my car so that was a lie.The absolute icing on the cake was that after all of that grief, it WAS the WRONG BATTERY!!! They sold me the wrong battery for my car!! The stupidity is astounding. I’ll never go back.
