The worst staff very rude in Torrance location

I am appalled that America’s Best would hire America’s WORST! I just called over to the Torrance, CA store and spoke to the manager Jason. I calmly and politely explained to him that I was calling to discuss a pair of glasses I purchased last year. He rudely interrupted me and told me it was my fault for waiting too long to call. I asked him if he could please lower his voice and stop being so aggressive and he said that is just how he talks to people. I asked to speak to a manager. He said he was the manager and there was no one else I could speak to. I then asked for the name of his supervisor. He gave me the 800 # and hung up on me. I am shocked this man has any job, much less at such a widely respected nationwide company. Just disgraceful. I am sure I am not the only customer America’s Best has or will lose due to Jason.

Friendly staff on phone and in person. They patiently and politely answered every question and explained each detail about the additional features available. Even when I brought in glasses that weren’t purchased there for repairs Jay the GM helped us out quickly and graciously. I highly recommend this location to anyone who wears glasses or contacts!

The general manager Jason is the problem in this location. He has no regard for his customers. He is dismissive and quite rude.I informed his staff that I am diabetic and not comfortable waiting excessively. They went 25 minutes passed my appointment time, and when I approached the staff, they were dismissive. The manager asked me, “well what do you want me to do for you toady.” I again reiterated that I was diabetic and that I was not comfortable waiting which was why I made an appointment and if he was the general manager he should have a sense of who is on his sales floor. He said he didn’t know he had anyone waiting. I reminded him that he did know because I asked for 3 different glasses and he told his staff to stop helping me and he would take care of it, which he didn’t. He never even acknowledged me or made eye contact.I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone with concerns for COVID come here. They do not honor appointment times. The staff is rude. The manager can not handle his job. He is in customer service and does not have any desirable customer service skills. He is aloof and not empathetic at all. The seating area is not arranged so that customers can stay 6 feet apart. It’s really quite a mess. The only person with an apology was the girl in the front. I believe her name was MIA.
