Last week I dropped off an  E-cylinder Oxygen tank in your Redwood City CA location. I picked up the tank yesterday. The clerk charged me and gave me a tank with no seal on it. When I returned to the office and after hooking up the tank to the regulator, I found out that the tank is half empty. This unprofessional and dangerous conduct has caused me to lose my trust and confidence in this company. I will be making formal complaints to regulatory agencies, as this conduct has jeopardized patient safety.

Worst experience I’ve ever had with any business. Sold me a bottle of zero air for my smog machine for over $700. It had a different adaptor that I spent weeks trying to find. Bureau of Automotive repair came out and said I was not allowed to use it on my smog machine and Airgas should take it back for a full refund. They told me they would not refund me and charged me storage even after returning and losing $700. They were also the ones who assured me I was allowed to use the gas on my machine. I refused to pay the storage fees and now its in collections. Praxair has always been good to me! Bye Airgas

The product is good, and the prices reasonable. They are a little slow, but they’re geared towards more industrial applications, and I’m just a hobbyist, so waiting a couple of days for a small tank fill is tolerable. The low rating is because one of the guys working for them is incredibly unhelpful. I interacted with two men working the front desk, a younger guy and an older guy. The older guy was great, very helpful, he took care of me.The first time I walked into the place the younger guy was at the desk. I was looking to buy a tank from them, and get it filled. I asked about it, and he just said ‘no’. I said, ‘what do you mean, don’t you sell these tanks?’, he said ‘no’ again. I told him that I had found the tanks that I was looking for on their website, and then he finally elaborated a bit, and let me know that while they do technically sell them, they sell quickly, and are always out of stock. Then he said just to go buy a tank on Amazon (no help on what I should be looking for). It would’ve been a lot quicker and easier just to tell me that up front and try to be helpful. Since I needed to sit there pulling teeth to get answers, it ended up taking much longer than needed, and I left annoyed.I eventually got a tank, and came in to have it filled. The older guy took care of me, and let me know it’d be a couple of days. A couple of days later, I called and got the younger guy on the phone. He was rude and unhelpful, he literally refused to check if my tank had been filled while I was on the phone. I didn’t want to make a trip over there for nothing, so I asked him several times. He said that he wasn’t sure, but at the same time, would not go check. I ended up just waiting an extra couple of days, and going in to deal with the older guy again, who got me my tank.I’m not suggesting that they fire this guy, but maybe don’t let him interact with customers. He’s bad at it, and will lose the company business.
