Shopping for my first car in almost two decades, I started with the assumption that used car buying fell somewhere between an IRS audit and emergency dental work. I so dreaded pushy sales tactics I even set my sights on Carvana and Vroom, only to find cars that were either laughably overpriced, or available one night and gone the next. Finally, after seeing an intriguing car on their lot, I relented and called Action Auto.Before I even had the chance to practice my poker face and rehearse my sales pitch rebuttal, John handed over the keys and encouraged me to take a lengthy test drive. He also had no problem with the car heading out for an independent pre-purchase inspection, which I did to confirm the car’s excellent condition.The experience was everything I hadn’t expected—refreshingly simple and zero pressure. The best part is what’s now in my driveway. One of the cleanest, lowest mileage 7th gen Accords in the country: an ‘06 EX-L V6 in a very classy bronze on black. All for less than a quarter of the original sticker!?! Absolutely love it!!
