What a great business owner and person.

I had a beautiful and very old figure/vase for many years. It needed some refreshing, and the results from La Porte Vintage were amazing. I’ve posted the before and after photos here. Also, I purchased a piece of furniture that Sheila had found and restored for me. I’ve attached those photos as well. The quality of her work and the ease of working with Sheila always make it a fantastic experience.

I was looking to get a couple thousand pocket knives repainted since they were the wrong color scheme and are basically dead inventory at our company. I searched online for toy/model repair and found Paint Changes Everything. I emailed Sheila the owner with the project details, then called her and left a message. She called me back the next day and was a pleasure to speak with.We spoke for about fifteen minutes in depth and although we came to the conclusion that it wasn’t financially feasible to have each pocket knife hand painted due to the amount of labor involved since our company is a direct importer and wholesaler and operates on very thin margins, Sheila was immensely helpful in giving me very thorough advice on which types of paint would work and how best to use them for my project if I did want to pursue that direction on my own.Sheila was incredibly nice and helpful as I have next to no knowledge when it comes to painting anything. She even invited me to call her back anytime if I needed more advice, which she said she freely gives to anyone who calls in with questions. What a great business owner and person. I really appreciate her taking the 15 minutes out of her day to make sure I had the best advice going forward. Thank you, Sheila. Five out of five stars!

I have bought some of Sheila’s great furniture and also worked with her on a variety of refurbishing projects including redoing some severely damaged bedroom furniture. Her attention to detail, meticulous efforts, and patience to make sure everything turns out well is amazing. Marvelous, professional, and easy to work with. Always satisfied!
