Beers on tap are awesome! My favorite of all the breweries in the area. The new porch/patio is very comfortable and dog-friendly.The food was very tasty, we ordered a burger and nachos and everything was fresh and well-prepared. My only (very minor) complaint is that the menu is pretty small and comprised of mostly heavy bar food. I’d love to see some of the vegetarian and seafood options that the Birmingham location has! For now if I’m in the mood for something lighter, I’ll have to go somewhere else for food and come here for beer after.Otherwise a perfect location to meet up with friends for a drink. Go check it out!

My partner and I really enjoyed this brewery! After driving our travel trailer from Tennessee to Alabama, we were ready for a drink and some good food. Back Forty did not disappoint! I believe the woman who poured our beers and took our order was one of the owners, but not for sure. However, she was awesome! She recommended the perfect brews for my partner and I, as well as the perfect meal. We had the Korean Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Asian slaw and it was amazing. There was live music going on outside on the patio and the entire place was fun and welcoming. We recommend stopping here if you’re ever traveling through Gadsden!
