… assembly or any of that nonsense. One very bad thing about this shop is that they aren’t located in my town. But the drive to their store is well worth the extra time.

Quick, friendly, had what I needed. Was told it could take up to 3-4 days but they got it done the same day! Awesome group of people. Will definitely use them for all my bike needs and highly recommend using them. Thanks guys! Nick…

Kinda rude over the phone and haven’t updated to show that they’re no longer a Yamaha dealer…

I’d like to start off by saying that I am not one to leave negative reviews in any form, but I feel that after my experience this is justified. I took my motorcycle to Fort Payne Powersports on April 28th, 2020. I was told that the service department had a 3 week lead time, and I was comfortable with that. After 3 weeks had elapsed and I hadn’t received any communication from the shop I called for a service update. This was on a Friday. I was told that they had not been able to get to my motorcycle yet, but my motorcycle was first on the list to get worked on the following week. Hardly ever are deadlines ever met in a mechanic shop, so I expected this and was content with that promise. I stated that I had a trip planned the following weekend and was wondering if I needed to secure another motorcycle to ride on my trip. I was assured that I would have it back by then. The following Tuesday I called again to see if they had started on my bike. I was told that they had started on it . The following Thursday I stopped by the shop, and I was surprised to see my motorcycle parked in the exact spot that I left it upon drop off. I asked for an update on why it was still sitting there and was told “Well, they haven’t had a chance to track down the issue because the service department is slammed at the moment.” Needless to say I had to miss my trip because I was given false information. So, after 4 weeks my motorcycle still sat in the same spot that I left it. Another week elapsed, and still my motorcycle sat in the same spot. Finally, at the beginning of week 6 I received a call from the mechanic. We talked about the issue I was having and possible solutions etc. I finally thought we were getting somewhere. Well, a week went by and I hadn’t heard anything else so I gave them a call. I was told that he hadn’t been able to ride it yet, and hadn’t tracked down the issue. Well, a week before that when the mechanic called me he told me he had already ridden it. Another white lie to buy themselves more time. So, one more week elapsed. One week shy of 2 months. I receive a call from the shop. After 2 MONTHS I was informed that they simply did not have time to track down my issue, and that I needed to come get my motorcycle because they just couldn’t get it back to me as “fast” as I was wanting it back. Well, in my mind, I was very patient and understanding in waiting for 8 weeks to have my motorcycle repaired. In no way, shape, or form is that me wanting my bike back “fast”. I was told numerous little white lies about the status of my repair just to keep me happy, and after 8 weeks I was given back a still broken motorcycle with no apology. I absolutely, never in my life, have experienced something so unprofessional. I understand being very busy. I understand missing a deadline by a week or two. Things happen. I do not understand lying. I do not understand not completing a job that you agreed to do. I don’t understand how a business stays afloat that operates based off of those tendencies. So, in short, I absolutely do not recommend this shop. Because of the lack of professionalism and time management I was given back a broken motorcycle after 8 weeks of waiting and I was forced to take it to another shop and restart the waiting process. Unless you’re willing to wait until the following riding season to get your motorcycle, ATV, etc back to you then I would not recommend.
