I love to go this place.

Like all 711, it has high prices and poor quality.

He tried to change the subject, but when pressed, he said in an hour.

Very typical 7-11. Most important thing of note is the parking lot is huge. The location can be tricky to get to, but once you’re in the lot, I would be astounded if you failed to find some parking.

Walk here a few times a week. Love going in being greeted by name and chatting with the guys for a few minutes. Selection more than fits my needs.

Really weird. Came by, grabbed a doughnut, grabbed a milk, then thought I’d check out some of the electronics, because I lost some headphones recently. They didn’t have the style I liked, so I remembered, oh yeah. I need toothpaste. I was reaching for it when I hear a voice. Pull my headphones out, and it’s Rob, who works there, telling me I have to grab whatever I’m buying and go. “Are you closing?” I ask. He tried to change the subject, but when pressed, he said in an hour. And that appears to be a lie; online info says they are open 24 hours. So, context: I’m wearing decent jeans, a very expensive jacket, gloves, a nice fleece beanie. Nothing to indicate that I’m trouble. And I wasn’t in there for more than 8 minutes. I was not staggering, talking to myself, or interacting with anyone in an inappropriate manor.I’m actually a 7-11 fan: visited thousands of them over the years, and have always enjoyed the coffee and snacks. Never discovered this time-limit before. I don’t know what his issue was with me – I was simply browsing… wasn’t in a hurry. If I’d known there was an 8 minute rule, I would have complied. But this was just arbitrary and weird. So I bought neither doughnuts, nor milk, nor toothpaste. I left them on the counter. If he had waited literally just 20 seconds for me to grab the toothpaste I was reaching for at the time, or if he had more respectfully asked if I needed help, I’d have bought the stuff, and would happily come back next time I needed a snack. Instead, no business this time, and literally never again. Liars who discriminate against people based on appearance have no place in retail, and there are at least 4 other 7-11s in the immediate area. Why go back to a place that treats me like a criminal for being a slow decider?
