My teenaged son’s MacBook that he has to use for online learning this year started not charging the same month the 1 year warranty was up, we brought it to Best Buy, where we bought it and since it has no damage or anything spilled on it, was highly likely a manufacturing issueBut Apple won’t let the geek squad work on macs because they have a “contract”They said bring it to the Apple store and tell them when it started malfunctioning, we are in a pandemic, Apple should honor it…NOPE!By the time we were able to bring it to the Mac store it was just outside it’s warranty and even though the tech said it’s a manufacturing issue, we would have to pay $450 to have it sent inDuring a pandemic when my son desperately needs his computerWhat in The F! I have the same computer (no issues in 4 years)The manager is horrible and said no one else was his boss above him and I HAVE to go through him
