I can recall very few times where I’ve bought raw meat from behind the counter that didn’t smell off. I was hoping the situation would change with the new ownership a few years ago, but it hasn’t. The vegetables, bread, ordered sandwiches, and most behind the counter pre-made food is of good quality and they have a decent selection for a small grocer. The quality of the meat is worrisome enough to detract from the rest of the store.
