HEY Woodcraft!!!!On 3/15 you held a sale on Rikon tools/equipment. My family chose this time to purchase a lathe. You took $3,400 from our bank account in a purchase you said would ship within 3 weeks time. After 4 weeks passed WE called YOU for an update and were told a few more weeks. After a few more weeks passed, WE called YOU and were told JULY…..We then called Rikon who were also equally unenthusiastic about acknowledging how out of control is it to take a payment and provide no product/service for months after your promise date.How is this legal?

PURCHASED A CARBIDE WOOD GOUGE FROM THE ROCHESTER NY STORE FOUR WEEKS AGO. DIDN’T DO THE JOB FOR ME AND I DIDN’T LIKE IT. THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH IT, JMUST WASN’T HAPPY WITH THE JOB IT DID.ALL SALES RECEIP[TS HAVE CLEARLY PRINTED ON THEM. IF YOUARE NOT HAPPY FOR ANY REASON, RETURN IT WITHIN 90 DAYS. WENT TO RETURN IT STORE —REFUSED TO TAKE IT BACK SAYING THE ORIGINAL PACKAGING WAS NOT THERE. I SAID IT DOESN’T SAY THAT ON THE GUARANTEE—STILL REFUSED TO RETURN IT OR EXCHANGE IT.I HAVE 2 LATHES, A DRUM SANDER, A BAND SAW, AND TONS OF WOOD AND SUPPLIES I HAVE PURCHASED FROM WOODCRAFT. NOT ONLY HAVE THEY OFFENDED A GOOD CUSTOMER, BUT I FEEL THEY ARE GUILTY OF FALSE ADVERTISING. IF I SAVED ALL THE PACKAGING FROM THINGS I BOUGHT THERE, I WOULD NEED A SMALL WAREHOUSE.FROM NOW ON, I’M BUYING ONLINE WHERE RETURNS ARE EASY AND RESPECTFULLY ACCEPTED.BUYER BEWARE.
