The quick version: We are very happy and would do business (service and sales) with Wilkins of Bath again. The extended version: This is our 5th RV (2nd from Wilkins), so we know that nothing ever goes 100% smooth due to all of the components, the pandemic, parts shortages, labor shortages, etc. That being said, Grand Design and Wilkins RV exceeded our expectations. Let’s start with service: Mark and Wayne had other things I’m sure they’d rather be doing than helping us at 3pm on a Friday, but they helped us in an emergency situation where we couldn’t get the RV off of the truck. We are so grateful for their last minute help. Sales: We worked with Gary Drum who helped us get the lowest possible price on our Grand Design. We called dealers all over the country and got the BEST deal and trade in value at Wilkins of Bath. They actually quoted us too low and we had to renegotiate the deal. Mistakes happen and that’s fine- we ended up getting another quarter percent off of our rate to make up for it. When we went to pick it up, Todd (I think that’s his name?) helped show us our new camper in the POURING RAIN! I felt so bad for him. It would’ve been nice to be in the garage, but with all of the huge demand in RV sales, there simply was no room. I understand. He was fantastic at the walk through. All in all, it was a great experience that I would duplicate. Other great experiences were the lounge area where you can buy snacks/drinks. You’ll need it during that long day of picking up your RV! I appreciate everyone there and will do business with them again. Five stars!

If we were to buy another RV, we would definitely come back to Wilkins RV of Bath, N.Y., and that’s saying something since this is the 5th RV we’ve purchased and we live in Utah! The total experience was great from reviewing and finding the RV on-line (Great Website) to Sales information and negotiation (great job Brian Wise) to Sales Closing paperwork (thanks Mark Evans) to delivery and hook-up of the RV, the service department went out of their way to make sure everything was installed, adjusted and hooked up properly before we left the dealership, to follow-up and help on warranty items (a special thanks to Tom Hann Assistant Service Manager) The entire experience was Great (something that is hard to find in today’s world). Thanks again to all at Wilkins RV of Bath, N.Y.. We are enjoying our 5th Wheel and are Very Happy Campers!

I’ve never had a more frustrating experience dealing with a company. The day after I put a down payment on my travel trailer they called and told me that somehow it got backed into by someone on the lot. They never sent me any pictures or gave me a clear indication of the amount of damage it sustained. My salesman was adamant that it was not severe and only cosmetic and that they would have it fixed up in no time (this is the point where I should have made the decision to pull plug and ask for a refund). When I went up to sign paperwork and get a demonstration I thought I could see my trailer but I was informed that it was sent to Rochester for more repairs. During the signing of the deal offers that were promised over the phone to compensate me for the trouble of damaging my trailer we’re forgotten about and when I mentioned it the salesman acted confused like he had no idea what I was taking about. After filling out all the paperwork I ended up waiting about 3 weeks to a month before it finally was delivered back to Bath. When I went up to pick it up the repairs looked mediocre at best and the bumper was still clearly bent. The back up camera didn’t work at all in the parking lot so they said they’d order me one since it’s under warranty. I am currently sitting in my truck in the parking lot after waiting a month and a half for my replacement only to be told that the one they were sent (or ordered for me) is the wrong one and they’ll have to order me a new one. I asked if they could just give me a new one off the shelf to compensate me for all the time and hassle and was told that they weren’t compatible with my camper and I’d just have to wait. The feeling I get from everyone that works here is that they just want to get you out of the dealership and are unwilling to work with you or hear you out. I’ll just end this by saying that I’m typically a very forgiving person and avoid conflict whenever I can. I’ve never left a negative review on anything and for me to post this would speak a lot to anyone that knows me. Once I receive my camera in the mail I will never deal with Wilkins again and I will push anyone that asks me about my experience towards another dealership.
