A friend of mine , when my car started stalling, recommended Wilder Auto Repair. The man is a virtual whiz!! Identified my problem in about 20 seconds!!Diagnosis:Vacuum leak (160 for a smoke test)Faulty control valve. 300 for part. 160 to install.Since I’m homeless, and only paid 400 for the car, I passed.Then I took it to a friends house. In 20 minutes, we identified the vacuum leak with a little hose, and used throttle body cleaner to ungunk the valve.Total cost. 5 bucks for cleaner, and piece of tubing. Time: 20 minutes. Saved 650.00This clown likes to charge people down on their luck about 1,000.00 an hour since I found the 300$ part online for 30 bucks.
