I like reading the reviews of the places I review as a Google Local Guide to compare my review with that of others. I particularly like reading the 1 star rating reviews. When I find a place that I study and end up loving because of things such as cleanliness, professionalism (you all know what that means… doing what is best for the customer regardless of your personal FEELINGS at the time or whether or not you are having a bad day), attention to detail, the willingness to focus on a customer and not let distractions diminish the interaction and degrade the quality of the information being shared, knowledge of your trade and the things you sell, and something called politeness. Bottom line for me is that if you gave this place anything other than a five star rating, then you have issues… it also suggests that you did not speak clearly and fairly to the owners and employees and give them a chance to make things right (everybody makes mistakes). For all of you 5 star reviewers… I cannot add anything more positive than what you have already contributed… so I won’t even bother giving any accounts of my positive experiences. This place is a gem and staffed by dedicated people working diligently to deliver the highest standard in retail. For anything related to birds… this is the only place my wife and I will shop as long as we live in San Antonio. We also believe in supporting local businesses because this is how communities grow stronger and healthier over time. Kuddos to the owners and staff of this very interesting franchise.

Then were hooked, and we love going into the store to get items on our list, answers, and ideas. Kyle and the all wonderful folks there make it a fun neighborhood adventure for us, every time.
