We rented the electric bikes. Up till now, we had never ridden electric bikes before. At the risk of stating the obvious, electric bikes work like regular bikes. You still need to peddle. The electric motor just adds power to your peddle. Each peddle gives you a lot more acceleration. So it still takes effort. Just not as much. They’re a lot of fun to ride! Only four stars because the location on Catalina is not the best.

While it looks cute and fun, riding a surrey is not really easy lol. A lot of peddling won’t get you very far. But kudos to the employees for a great service and for honoring medical frontliners with a free hour of ride.

Not sure what happened here but dealing with these people should not have been this hard. We went to another business on the island where we went the day before and it was no sweat. Also have dealt with a franchise location in another state and had no issues.
