Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

COLD!15 minute wait in the drive through during a lunch rush. You would think the food would be hot when you eat it 5 minutes later.Fries were completely cold and getting tough and chewy. If you know how cold fast food french fries taste, then you know how terrible this is.Burger had no color. I’m not sure my picture shows how gray and colorless the patty was, but it was nothing special.There are too many places doing better burgers these days. Huge disappointment. This will be my last visit to any Whataburger.

Normally a decent experience, I love Whataburger. Tonight, Monday 4/12/21, I’m pretty certain the heavyset black girl working the drive-thru was on something. I got up to the window and paid with a $20 bill and she said she got my order wrong. Walked off and came back a minute later and said my $13+ dollar order would only be $8 flat because the guy in front of me accidentally paid for my order. She then asked for payment after I’d already given her 20 dollars. I corrected her and finally she figured it out and handed my change, most coins landing on the pavement. At the second window it was more the same. I was asked 3 times what I had ordered. No one seemed to know what was going on. This was about 8pm. Someone needs to intervene. Whataburger is better than that.

Definitely a below average Whataburger. Sometimes the orders take forever. And forget about building it your way.
