Fresh / frozen bait always stocked. Plentiful with lures and lines of all kinds. 5 minutes from the port Hueneme pier where fishing is fun and easy. Always other fisherman and families on the pier chatting and having a good time. Early morning is the best time to go to hang with other people fishing. Usually get the drinkers later in the day and towards the end of the day.

Westmarine used to be the place to go for anything boating, they even had good kayak selection. But my last visit was very disappointing. No kayaks, supplies looked dismal! You used to walk into the store and someone always asked if you needed help this visit I was there for 20 minutes and the only person who said anything to me was the lady cashier who greeted me as I walked in. Next time I’ll drive to basspros in Rancho Cucamonga!
