West End Gallery is a family owned and operated gallery CELEBRATING 44 YEARS in business on Historic Market Street in Downtown Corning, NY! Visitors to West End Gallery will find a wonderful selection of representational art. The Gallery features artwork by more than 50 exceptional artists. Among them are Tom Gardner, Brian Keeler, GC Myers, Martin A. Poole, Gary Weisman, Treacy Ziegler and the late, Thomas S. Buechner. Visitors will find changing exhibits of original art in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel, wood, bronze, glass and more. Upon receiving a warm welcome from a friendly, knowledgeable staff, you may wander through two floors of Gallery space at your leisure. All events FREE and open to the public.

Unfortunately, I have not yet had the pleasure of visiting West End Gallery. Hopefully, post-pandemic, I will be able to do so! I found West End through one of their amazingly talented artists a few years ago and I have been following them on Facebook and Twitter ever since. Recently, all of the pieces fell onto place for me to finally acquire an original painting by that artist, which meant purchasing through West End.For anyone thinking about a long-distance transaction like, please do! I contacted the gallery about my interest via email and they sent me photos of the entire exhibit the painting I was interested in was in, as displayed in the gallery. The purchase process was easy, just call them.I corresponded with Lin via email inquiries and Jesse on the phone to finalize purchase. They were both very helpful and very friendly and pleasant to deal and communicate with. Very prompt with communications, and they genuinely care about the piece you’re interested in, the artist that created it, and you and your experience.I completed my purchase ona Friday, they shipped it the following Monday (to avoid any languishing in a distribution center where the risk of exposure to who knows what damage could occur), and I received the painting two days later. The care in wrapping, padding, and boxing was clearly evident and very much appreciated! It arrived in pristine condition and was absolutely perfect and beautiful!It was a real treat and a real pleasure. I can’t wait until we will finally be able to visit and see their exhibits in person.
