Typical French bistro in the center of Garden City. Plenty of outdoor seating and very clean. We were seated promptly for a Saturday 5:15pm early dinner reservation. We had an excellent server, was courteous and attentive.The hype was the mussels so we tried that for appetizers. We don’t like creamy broth so we tried the Provençal style. Unfortunately it didn’t meet our expectations. We had better and the mussels though ample, were grainy.We ordered salad with lump crab meat for me and bistro burger for my husband. The burger was good but the salad , though plenty of crab meat, was just okay for me. My recommendation is to have the dressing on the side if you want to try it so you can adjust it to your liking.Price is comparable to the other restaurants in the area.

Food was very good, i had the black linguine with mussels. We went after my sisters graduation ceremony and the waiter was really nice and funny. He knew what he was talking about and made everyone feel comfortable. Even when the food was late for my sister they took it off the bill which was really nice. The purple haze was said to be a little strong but the beer was good. A nice amount of food. Only real complaint was they sat us outside and it smelled kind of bad but i guess it’s because the landscaping was just done. Frites and mayo!

Had an afternoon lunch on a Monday and was pleased with the whole experience. Ate outside in a bubble away from other diners so felt more intimate for my wife and I. The host was very accommodating since my reservation was for inside she instantly changed it to outside. Our server was prompt and very pleasant. She didn’t interfere with our conversations but picked her moments accurately to ask if we needed anything or if we were ready to order. The food was excellent as well as the drinks. All in all a wonderful experience to start the week.
