I don’t understand the one star review. I’ve taken watches here for repair and batteries and just questions for about eight years, and the service is pro, fast, and plenty friendly. Not a lot of chit-chat, because English isn’t their first language, but they (man and wife) speak it well enough to talk about watches in depth, and they’re good people, to boot.Here’s one story: I wanted to replace my leather band with a metal one. I wanted a dull finish, and all they had was shiny. The owner said, I can make it dull, give me a minute, and he came back in less than that with a perfect dull finish–no charge.Here’s a thing with watch places: Watch-work is not the kind of skill you can learn on YouTube. It takes formal training and lots of experience. Everybody these days wants to have an expensive watch, but many people don’t want to pay for skilled labor. Watch Zone is totally skilled, professional, a mom-and-pop pro shot for watch repair, south of Ygnacio on Civic, about two blocks East of Target’s main entrance. I’ve been there at least thirty times in the past seven or so years, and I’ve always gotten good service, quality work, and a fair shake.

Wonderful place. Very reasonable price, quick setvice. I live in Santa Cruz and will come to Walnut Creek for watch battery and repair from now on. Great selection of watch bands and Citizen watches. Very nice customer service
