Took my mom for the first time to this optical and workers were very helpful. They answered all my mom’s questions and helped her order the appropriate lenses for her. I was very pleased with them therefore I also came back with my prescription. Takes a week for glasses to arrive. Very fast service.

It was very unpleasant, I took my mom and my Aunt for glasses and the 2 people that were there were very unprofessional. They were talking among themselves the girl told the boy she didn’t want to help my aunt or mom.I confronted them and they told me the girl couldn’t help because she was a student. Thats why she had done that comment. First of all then why is she there and if she’s a student then she should be learning how to greet customers instead of choosing who she wants to attend. Secondly they told us her insurance was inactive, when it was active. So eventually they did not help us at ALL. We went to the one on Altoon Gloor and they were very professional and they said the insurance was active. I really think they need to teach the people that work at Boca chica to be professional. Or maybe they need NEW employees. Very dissatisfied of this optical. I would not recommend this place to no one. Especially if they make you feel unwelcome.

I waited for 3 hours only for the Dr. To refuse service to me for no reason. She declined service in front of everyone in a very rude manner. Her reason was that since I inquired about a prescription for dry eyes a year ago and she couldn’t see me then because she only does prescriptions and nothing else, that she can’t give me a prescription now either since she couldn’t see me then. Her reasoning made no sense and when I tried to understand she interrupted, ignored me, and told me that she is refusing service to me and that she didn’t have to give me an explanation even after a 3 hour wait. It was rude, unprofessional, and humiliating.
