We have used the Clanton location for 3 years now and we couldn’t be happier.

Attendant was not very personable and was very short and dismissive.

Let them know my visions still didn’t seem corrected or improved.

Attempted to have an eyeglass Rx filled and was not able to because their labs are closed. Attendant was not very personable and was very short and dismissive. I’m not sure what services they are offering at this time. Very disappointing first contact and won’t be returning.

While the Vision Center may be apart of Walmart, It definitely does not hold the same Customer Service values that Walmart does. Having a Contact Lens exam here was the worse experience I’ve ever had from an eye care center. Never have worn contacts before, I did not know what to expect or what was routine for the exam. I was told there would be a fitting and education on how to insert/remove the contact, how to properly care for the contacts, and the do’s and don’ts with contacts. I was placed in a room, with a large mirror behind a table, I was instructed to remove the contact and then insert it back into my eye, after the trained professional demonstrates once with her own contact, she then instructed me to remove my left contact. She watched as I got one contact out (Doctor had originally put them in) then instructed me to put it back in. While trying to insert the contact into my eye, I dropped it on the table in front of me, which then I asked.. Do I need to clean this, or try a differnt contact? She replies No It’s fine, just put it in your eye She then left the room, where I’m left to manage on my own for 20 min. After repeatedly dropping the contact on the table, the contact drying out, getting pinched when I tried to pick it up after the table… She finally returns. I finally get the contact back in my eye, where it proceeds to burn intensely; Her response It’s because the contact was dry. Not once did she instruct me to keep the contact moist/wet. I was never given any edu on care of the contact, or any reading material. I let her know my eye was burning, that I saw no change in my vision on my right eye (the contact I never took out once the Doctor inserted it,) I was told it would take 20 min or so for my eyes to adjust to the contacts.I then walked around walmart, for 45 min to an hour, gathering things I needed to purchase. Before leaving Walmart – I stopped back by the Vision Center, let the lady at the front know that I still see no difference in my vision, it was as though I didn’t have the contacts in at all, besides the irritation still in my left eye. I was told to give it a day, and come back to see that Doctor. So I did.Next day, I went back. Let them know my visions still didn’t seem corrected or improved. The irritation was gone, but every time I looked to the left the peripheral vision in my left eye blurs out. Doctor was not there so I scheduled an appointment for the morning of the Next day. Was heading to my appointment, where I received a voicemail stating the Doctor would not be in until that afternoon. Which I had already scheduled my day around the morning appointment. Not being able to adjust my schedule (going out to my parents to help my injured father in the yard on my only day off for the next week.) I was told I could come in the next day, on a day I had to work. Letting them known I would be off at 1PM, yet the Doctor was unable to stay any longer than 11:30AM. Even after I had come in day after, scheduled an appointment (which the doctor broke) She was unable to adjust her schedule to see a patient that had been complaining of Vision issues since the day of the exam. How Professional is that? Needless to say, I will never be back to this Vision Center, if any Walmart Vision Center.
