I went to Walgreens today to get my teen vaccinated. We arrived 15 minutes before the appointment and it took and 1 hour for my teen to get the vaccine shot. The process was slow and I wouldn’t recommend it. I personally got my vaccine at the Orange Expo Center and was in and out in 20 minutes (this included a 15 minute wait time after the vaccine was given).The nurse put the vaccine into my teens arm very very slowly. It was the slowest poke I have ever seen. The poke was painful for my teen. Also, the needle and syringe disposal was awkward. Needless to say. If you are in the Orange, TX area and want a COVID-19 vaccine; I’d suggest you get it somewhere other than this Walgreens.
