It’s always clean, this much I notice always right away. Product availability is at a satisfactory state.And this Walgreens in San Carlos next to Trader Joe’s is huge, and bright.I love the lay out and the fact that there is a 24-hour drive thru pharmacy.Not to many employees on the floor to ask for help often times, but items are easily found anyhow.Fast checkout, polite staff, but the clerk that ring me up didn’t have a lot of knowledge about the products that I inquired right behind the counter. Headphones and phone charging equipment. I ended up buying something that I didn’t need and had to return it later on at another Walgreens.But that wasn’t the end of the world. It is a very beautifully designed Walgreens nevertheless. But expect to be on your own when shopping, should questions arise about an item.But I would go shop there again, if in the area.

My experience with this pharmacy has been so poor, I feel compelled to take the time out to comment. I have had endless challenges getting basic prescriptions filled. Every single person I talk to in the pharmacy has a different take/story/recommendation on why they are challenged any given day to refill basic refills. And to top it off, today I was hung up on by the pharmacy. I have empathy for how hard everything is today for everybody after a year of the pandemic. But even with that In mind, there is just a basic minimum competency line that has been crossed here.

Pharmacist or Store Manager needs to re-evaluate their pharmacy window process. Service is too slow or pls hire another tech on site to assist PM shift and pharmacist on duty so the drive thru window line is not longer than if parons where to stand in line and wait inside.
