It’s easy to take for granted the abundance of products that are available at this chain store. Sure, Walgreens can be found practically everywhere. But in the neighborhood where you reside, that particular Walgreens is YOUR Walgreens. Always remember… you never know what you’ve got till it’s gone. With so many businesses closed down due to Covid, let us remember that for all the complaints about big corporations, they will always be around because we need them to be around. For as long as I can remember, the convenience of a neighborhood drugstore was and will always remain a constant need for taxpayers and poor citizens, alike. Never forget, whenever you need to take care of yourself, know where to go….

Called to find out why it was so difficult to get my prescription sent from the pharmacy to my house when it used to always work. Pharmacist tells me they are not doing ship to home from store because they are too busy with the vaccine. While I understand that the vaccine is important and might be making things difficult at the pharmacy, I don’t think that justifies the pharmacy not filling ship from store to home requests especially now in the middle of pandemic when there are people who still can’t or are too afraid to leave home and need their medications. Not all medical coverage cover medications being sent from the Walgreens warehouse.
