This is my first time to purchase glasses from Visionworks in Wichita Falls. It was a bit of an experience but Amanda, Allen and Carla were very patient and understanding. You know how when you put on your new glasses for the first time you get that ‘ah-ha’ feeling? That wasn’t the case for me this time. I found the PERFECT frames at Visionworks, got fitted and waited for my new glasses. From the beginning there wasn’t the ‘I can see again’ feeling with these glasses. I returned several times to have them adjusted, checked and rechecked. I just could not see very well with these new lenses (Progressives….but not my first pair). Carla suggested a different frame style with larger lenses so we looked…..and looked some more. I decided to see if my eyes would ‘adjust’ since there was a very big difference in the new prescription. To no avail….I got a migraine that lasted a couple of weeks. So back to my eye doctor…. only to find out that my prescription was not correct. What a relief it was to find out the real issue.Amanda looked at the two prescriptions and really was amazed at the difference. We are all human and sometimes errors are made, but I was so happy that we figured out the actual problem. Amanda told me it would be two weeks before the new lenses would be back. I went after my new glasses today, less than 10 days after having them sent off. Put them on my face and I could see!! So after several weeks and a long migraine round, I get to keep my PERFECT frames and can see again. Thanks Amanda, Allen, and Carla for being so patient.
