In all fairness, I miss when they would deliver the food. I ordered on their website and ended up somehow through slice, the order was placed, paid and confirmed. At the time when the food would of been delivered, I received a email stating the order was canceled. I tried calling Village and the phone didn’t work. So I drove up there. At this point cooking was not a option. I was told that I would have to reorder and repay for it again. The reason was because the machine slice used was down and they haven’t came to fix it yet. I did try to stop payment through the bank, which couldn’t be done while pending.(regions). Food was great as always, just felt like to much of a hassle for attempting to have a easy night after a 12hr shift at work.

This is a little hole in the wall but it’s one of the best restaurants in Texas City. I got delivery the first time (through BringMeThat) and dined in the second time. Both times, the food was excellent. The dining area is dated, but clean. They have a pretty wide variety of food items and so far, they are all very tasty. Definitely worth a visit.

Horrible service!!! I placed an online order this evening at 5:45 PM that would be ready for pick up between 6:05 and 6:15 PM. I arrived at 6:10 PM to pick up my order only to be informed that they had not even started on it. I watched the employee place my ticket on the rack to be processed and took a seat to wait. While waiting I heard multiple phone orders taken and were completed ahead of my order. Walk-in orders were taken and completed ahead of my order. I’ll also add that the employees messed up on multiple orders that had to be remade or given at a discounted price. I’m not normally the type to complain about having to wait a little while but they really weren’t that busy. After waiting for 40 minutes, what I can only assume is the manager asked me what I was waiting on and I said an online order. He asked the employees where the ticket was and found it exactly where the first employee put it on the rack and I was again informed that they had not started on my order. Finally, an hour and a half after placing my order online and an hour waiting in the restaurant my food was ready and placed on the counter for me to pick up. That is an absolutely ridiculous amount of time to wait and certainly not worth the $60.00 I spent on the food. Needless to say I will not be giving my business to this place ever again and would not recommend anyone else to give them their business either.
