Review Summary

Ela Clark
Kind, patient, and a well-kept store in general. A great supplement and OTC selection and the layout for the pharmacy is very logical.
Jessica Hamner
Polite, personable staff.

Rude, unproffessional customer service at the drive up pharmacy window!!!

Ever have the pharmacy lose you scrip? So, I take my son’s scrip in about noon. Said I’ll pick it up later. I get a text about 30 minutes later saying it’s ready. I go back at 5:00. They seem to be having trouble finding it. My son’s initials are m.m.m. I thought looking under the M’s might be a good place to start. No such luck. They’ve got 6 pharmacists on their hands and knees looking through all, and I mean ALL the bags of scrips in the place. They go through ALL the names…no luck. The thought occurs to me that there are a LOT of bags of medicine there. My next thought was, there are a LOT of sick people here in Amarillo…and this is just one small pharmacy. Multiple bottles in a lot of the bags. My next thought was, drugs = BIG business. My next thought was, maybe if they quit eating so many chemicals, they might feel better. Now, they’re going back through EVERY bag and checking EVERY individual bottle in each bag. 6 o’clock, still no luck. Am I getting upset? Actually, no. I’ve been looking at the pharmacist’s eyes….pretty! Can’t see anything else…you know….because of the mask. Now, this doesn’t beat waiting at a gentleman’s club…but hey, what are you going to do? So, I notice one of the other pharmacists leave the pharmacy and head to the front office. After a while he comes back, looks in the bin where they throw the empty bags. There it is! He explains to me that he had to rewind the security camera tape back to the time they filled the scrip to see what happened to it. Oh, well. Some days are diamonds, some days are not. I still remember her eyes.

They do the best they can being open 24/7. The volume of customers and prescriptions must be overwhelming. I have waited more than 30 minutes in the store and drive in several times. The clerks are brisk and quickly ask for your dob many time without acknowledging you as a customer. Its get you done and on to the next person.

Was very disappointed today, in line waiting for a prescription, the techs in the pharmacy recognized the person behind me and since they knew this person, waited on her before me & the other person in line, and acted like it was no big deal. This is very poor customer service.
