It’s been so long ago I don’t recall what happened with those efforts.

The Potential economic growth of Lockport begins with the history that still exists in our structure. Locks, trains, steam, electricity, westward expansion. Western New York’s city’s surrouded the thriving New ports of transport. This station is key to rebuilding Lockport and utilizing the building for community gathering, markets, startup, innovation and maybe transportation or tourism it was a train station.-sunset dreams

Beautiful place, not much to see but still a cool little abandoned place to check out if you’re in the area and/or thrifting (the thrift store in the adjoining parking lot is super cool!) Please be careful of the north eastern wall, its leaning very hard and will eventually come down. Also respect the ground hog that resides here, he’s a good boy

They had restored this old train station years ago into a classy restaurant but it burned down. Obviously the wood portion. I love this building but it’s tucked away in kind of an awkward spot. Many years ago, after the last fire, there was a preservation drive to restore the building. It’s been so long ago I don’t recall what happened with those efforts. Although, it’s easy to tell they fizzled. What a shame because it really is a neat building.
