For a comic store to still be in business after covid, they get four stars. There selection is good, though if you are looking for anything other than the most recent back issues youre SOL.

This is the best comic book shop within a 20 mile radius hands down…They don’t overcharge when a book gets hot. As a matter of fact even if a book heats up they still sell it for cover price (AMAZING). Every book regardless if it’s a comic, TPB, or hardcover comes in a bag and board at no extra charge! They offer a pull list that comes with a discount at NO CHARGE unlike some comic shops that have an annual fee. They have a lot of cool merchandise. They have a back issue room where you can dig through a lot of long boxes and find your treasure at cover price!They offer a cool podcast room that you can rent by the hour. The shop is located in Uptown Whittier which is a very cool place. But most importantly they have a great staff, never rude, always friendly. So if you are looking for a comic shop for a one time purchase or for a weekly pull list… UNDERCITY COMICS is your shop!!! ‘NUFF SAID

This place has a great selections with all staff knowing all the update news and recommendations. Very warm and welcoming. Great place for both beginners and experienced comic book collectors alike!
