This store is charming and an essential stop in Athens. If you are on I-65, plan a stop because you will be glad you did. From homemade truffles, to unique jams, to adorable dishtowels and aprons, pocket knives to toy train sets, there is something for everyone. The customer service is outstanding. Opened in 1917, this store could be used in a film because the counters, stairs, and floors are perfectly vintage. I’ll visit again soon.

Cool stuff. Wildly overpriced. The chocolate candies at their candy counter are $4.00 a piece. $4 for a bite size chocolate candy! There isn’t a price advertised so you don’t realize it until you are paying and left with your jaw ajar.
