Small nice place but the owner cares about his animals
West Sanders
George (the owner) is the best! His shop is small but he has a great selection of animals. Because the shop is small he was able to give me 1 on 1 attention and made sure to give me everything I needed. I left as happy customer. Also, his tortoise roams free in the store and is totally awesome!I will definitely be back for more! You should stop by and support this local business.
Emotionally disturbed owner but nice staffers who try to work around and mitigate his erratic management style. George, the owner, can be sweet and is very knowledgeable and free to share his knowledge, but as a rule, there is literally no communication or follow-up on orders, and expecting an eta on any order is a joke. One time I experienced the bait & switch tactic there on a product I paid for in advance and was told it was “not being made anymore” but I could buy a much more expensive model. I didn’t bite and when I dared to comment/ask questions about it, the owner lost his mind. Not a safe space.
