Great selection, some items alittle pricy

There’s a row of Adirondack chairs out front and from a quick glance, you’d expect this to be just another over-priced rustic furniture outlet. Surprise! Go inside and browse the many booths of antique, vintage, and just plain old stuff. Twigs is a treasure hunter’s getaway nestled out the outskirts of touristy Lake Placid’s main drag. Prices vary from outrageously good to Are you serious? bad. It’s a great place to spend some time on a cold rainy day to see what you may discover.

Horrible experience, for the second time! Fool me once, never again! Came earlier in the summer and witnessed an employee being extremely rude to a customer( not to me) Returned today to purchase an item I saw in early July, the establishment did not open on time, the employee and I were waiting for the owner to arrive( she arrives after the advertised opening time) Instead of saying, sorry and thanks for your patience while we open, she barked at me, “ you will have to wait 5 minutes”. No,kindness, no patience. Then when I was given the green light to enter, before I had a chance to do,anything, she barked again, “ hand sanitizer”. I have no objection to sanitizing my hands, it was the manner and nasty attitude that I did not care for. No thanks for your patience, please use hand sanitizer, or anything remotely kind. I chose to walk out without purchasing the item I had planned to buy and I will never return to this establishment. I recommend everyone find a friendlier place to spend your money!
