Love these guys! I bought a bike on layaway, and while there were some hangups that were clearly out of their control, Austin was constantly in contact with me on statuses and news. When the bike finally came (earlier than expected!), they were extremely helpful in getting the bike set up for me and ready to ride. Any questions I had, they were excited to answer and chat about, and if they didn’t know, they were great about finding out. I have been back many times for other things and will continue to return because they’re easy to work with and just friendly to talk shop!

They’re the main reason I choose Kearny Mesa Trek as my local bike shop.I can’t be 100% happy without having a shop as good as Trek Kearny Mesa always there to help keep me pedaling. These folks are excellent. Axel has worked on my bike a number of times and has always been beyond helpful (and very patient, thankfully), going out of his way to make tight turnarounds and provide alternative solutions when parts are scarce. When I popped a spoke right before a big ride I’d been looking forward to, we chatted about a variety of solutions (spokes are seemingly impossible to get during covid) and he ultimately got me back on the bike with time to spare. Todd is also great to chat with and has provided great guidance on training, repairs, routes and more. Really everybody I’ve spoken with there has been beyond helpful and friendly, despite the fact that they’re always swamped with repairs and customers (as they should be). Just how a shop should be run.
