My 20 years as a regular customer of this neighborhood Tops was all but scuttled today by one of the new Managers on Duty today, named Jen. Notwithstanding the literally hundreds that I spend there each year, I could have accepted a ‘no’ on exchanging an expired roughly $6 receipted item. But, her interaction with me bordered on hostile. Without even so much as a word directly with me, she shouted a no to me from about 15 feet away, based on a sidebar with the person whom I asked to call a manager. It went downhill from there. When I asked, she claimed to not know when the store manager would be in, to not know who the district manager was, to not know the #800 number for Tops, and more. She got down right nasty regarding the #800 number, telling me that it ‘wasn’t in her head,’ then when I asked if it was at her desk, she remarked ‘I can’t see it now because I’m not at my desk.’ To say that she displayed a level of low-skill ignorance that is beyond words is an understatement. The worst part is that she was actually trying to be arrogant … while working in a grocery store for a living! Go figure.I immediately reported the incident to a Tops Customer Care rep who apologized profusely for Jen’s shocking ignorance–in fact, several times. I was told to expect a call from the operations team. I will try to update this review once I hear back.

Not my favorite grocery store but it works in a pinch. The produce when I was there was not stocked the best and things didn’t look the freshest. But they mostly had what groceries I needed. My big issue is that I was waiting for at least 30 minutes because there were only 2 registers or 3 open and huge lines going back into the shopping isles of people just waiting to check out. The older woman who checked me out was very sweet though.

Come here for their BOGOs. I recommend their basics like Tops brand cookies, cereals, chips, and meats.Some of Top’s brand package design is absolutely delightful! I love their cereal boxes with these happy barfing faces. Top’s coco puffs is miles better than Wegmans.People who complaine about Top’s prices never visited Wegmans. Although I would caution when shopping Top’s fruits and vegetables. They tend to be not as fresh as Wegmans so you need to watch out for the fresher produces.PLEASE bring back the RTZ bacon chips. It was one of the best chips in the store! I miss it so much ☹️
