Rented a pressure washer for 24 hours to wash the siding on my house. Went to use it the next morning but the hose for soap water wasn’t working. Called the store and they said they forgot to give me an attachment. They told me to come back in and they would give me the attachment and reset my time. When I went back in however, they not only refused to reset my time but didn’t even have the attachment that was supposed to come with it to begin with.I told them I wanted a refund.The employee said absolutely not because I’d had the tool overnight andyou could have washed the house…you just wouldn’t be able to use the soap.Unbelievable.I was furious and demanded to speak with the manager. He called the manager who told him that she would split the difference and only charge me the 4-hour rental price. Once again I asked for the manager. He sent me to the customer service desk. After explaining everything there they called the same manager who came out 10 minutes later. She listened to my story then flatly told me that’s why she was only charging me for 4 hours; that she could have rented the tool to other customers in the time I had it. I’m sure I looked a little crazy as I raised my voice and told her that they rented me a tool without the part I needed in the first place! She shouted FINE! and walked away from me, using her hand to signal me to follow. As she walked by the tool rental kiosk she slammed the desk with her hand and yelled VOID THE CONTRACT! and continued walking. Not once in the entire experience was I offered an apology from anyone involved. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.
